OWL End KS2 SATs Results 2014

Pupils leave the OWL Trust schools at the end of 2014 having attained higher standards and made more progress when compared to the 2013 national data set. According to our provisional analysis of end KS2 results pupils leave OWL schools with better achievement than their peers nationwide. Although more detailed analysis will be available during the autumn term 2014, when RAISEonline is published, it is clear that attainment is higher at level 4+ in reading, writing, maths and SPAG and in writing and spelling, punctuation and grammar at level 5+ when compared to 2013 national figures. Most promising are the above average numbers making 2 levels progress since KS1 and 3 levels progress - all well above the national average. This is an excellent picture and indicative of schools that have strength in teaching and learning. Watch this space for more detailed analysis in autumn.
